Look at those bundled up kids (sans gloves for Averie, turns out she's not a huge fan of mittens... they just got in her way.) ... snow falling all around them! Tahoe was so much fun! We stayed at a cabin right off of Pioneer Trail, where the kids could play in the yard with their sleds, we could build a snow man on the porch, and when we were done, we could come in and warm our freezing tootsies next to a nice warm fire! Rob and the girls went tubing at Sierra on Saturday... an exercise in patience, given that we had to wait an hour to even get tickets to ride, and then the line got progressively longer and longer as the 2 hour session went on. The girls didn't seem to mind much, just kept smiling and throwing snowballs at each other and at Rob! 
We knew a storm was coming, and hoped each morning we'd wake to snow falling and inches of fresh powder on the porch and car... but no. Not until 2 pm on Sunday afternoon did the snow start, but once it did... it sure came down! The girls (and Rob) caught snow in their mouths, although Averie's favorite method for eating the snow was more direct...
Here's a clip of the girls sledding in the front yard... they had fun doing this over and over and over... you get the picture! They slept well every night!
